Iskander Mos (1987) is an Animation Director and the Founder of PHUNK Animation Studio. Growing up with a strong affinity for science fiction and fantasy, Iskander's name is rooted in his connection to the genre, being named after the book “Iskander de Dromendief” by Dutch fantasy writer Wim Gijssen. His passion for animation began early, starting with 3D animation at the age of 14. Throughout his journey, he has consistently been immersed in the creation of games and animations. Following high school, Iskander pursued game design in Breda, Netherlands, but gravitated more towards the storytelling aspects of gaming. After a two-year tenure at a game company, he founded his own media company to gain greater creative autonomy and focus on developing his own stories and concepts. In 2022, Iskander achieved a milestone by creating his debut film "Drawn Out" in collaboration with the Dutch Film Fund. His personal work can be categorized within the realms of science fiction and fantasy, often carrying a humorous and emotional undertone.
